Around this time last year we published a press release announcing the Cardiff City Council confidential paper waste tender being awarded to ELITE Paper Solutions, which outlined to dispose of more than 70,000kg of confidential waste from 70 sites which the council produces each year.
12 months on, and the contract has gone amazingly! After tendering, we’ve now successfully won an additional contact with Cardiff Council which was announced last month. We’ll now be collecting confidential waste from County Hall, City Hall and Wilcox House, in addition to the other sites we currently service.
This contract has over 3 times the tonnage of paper we already collect from the other Cardiff sites, equating to approx. 230 tonnes of paper p/a solely from the 3 sites.
