Funding to improve employment prospects for people with sensory loss
It was announced yesterday by Finance Secretary Mark Drakeford that £2.9 million will be funded for specialist employment and training services for people with sensory loss. The JobSense project – supported by £1.8 million of EU funding and £1.1 million of Welsh Government funding – will work with 390 economically-inactive and long-term unemployed people with hearing or sight problems. ELITE Supported Employment are very proud to delivering the JobSense project alongside Action on Hearing Loss Cymru and the Centre of Sign Sight Sound.
