Back in October 2018, we were given the amazing news that we had been shortlisted as 1 of 3 finalists for the Traineeship Employer of the Year Award by PeoplePlus Cymru. The Awards were held at the National Assembly building in Cardiff Bay earlier this morning (6th Dec 2018). It was announced yesterday by Finance Secretary Mark Drakeford that £2.9 million will be funded for specialist employment and training services for people with sensory loss. The JobSense project – supported by £1.8 million of EU funding and £1.1 million of  Welsh Government funding – will work with 390 economically-inactive and long-term unemployed people with hearing or sight problems. ELITE Supported Employment are very proud to delivering the JobSense project alongside Action on Hearing Loss Cymru and the Centre of Sign Sight Sound. With our brand new Luton van arriving a few weeks back, the recruitment process for new drivers & drivers mates followed shortly after.
