Funding to improve employment prospects for people with sensory loss

It was announced yesterday by Finance Secretary Mark Drakeford that £2.9 million will be funded for specialist employment and training services for people with sensory loss.

The JobSense project – supported by £1.8 million of EU funding and £1.1 million of  Welsh Government funding – will work with 390 economically-inactive and long-term unemployed people with hearing or sight problems.
