Around this time last year we published a press release announcing the Cardiff City Council confidential paper waste tender being awarded to ELITE Paper Solutions, which outlined to dispose of more than 70,000kg of confidential waste from 70 sites which the council produces each year. 12 months on, and the contract has gone amazingly! We are absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve been successful in the Welsh Governments #FoundationalEconomy challenge Fund. We will receive £85,190 in funding. Our plan is to work with public sector stakeholders to change procurement practices and place more contracts with social enterprises that support those furthest from the labour market.
