Environmental Challenge
We've set-up an environmental challenge for schools across Wales with the hope of making Wales a greener place whilst educating students about the importance of recycling.
Our Mission
When setting up ELITE Paper Solutions, we had two missions in mind - Increase employment rates within our community & help reduce paper waste ending up in landfill. On average, we currently shred & recycle 16 tonnes of paper via our unit in Merthyr Tydfil each week, this is equivalent of saving 384 trees.
With this in mind, we're hoping to link in with schools across Wales by offering an Environmental Challenge, in the hope it will raise awareness & encourage pupils to recycle efficiently.
Why join our challenge?
We’re asking schools across Wales to join our challenge to help save our trees, with the hope that pupils will be encouraged to participate in the challenge and gain a better understanding of the effects of recycling.
Each school that joins our challenge will receive a Personalised Environmental Certificate. In conjunction to this, the school that consistently demonstrates their recycling efforts, will be crowned the ‘Recycling Champion’ followed by a media campaign sharing the positive news, a digital badge for the schools email signature and recognition as ELITE’s Annual Environmental Award.
Recycling 1 tonne of office paper will help save approx. 24 trees, this is around 60 bags of paper. How many trees could your school save?
We’re able to offer non-confidential paper & cardboard recycling FREE OF CHARGE, when collecting your confidential paper waste. Only produce non-confidential paper waste? That’s fine, we also offer a stand-alone service at very competitive price.

How many trees will your school save?
Not only will we provide progression updates throughout the challenge, but we'll also arrange school visits to discuss & present the environmental impacts.

We also offer bespoke agreements to customers requiring regular collections of confidential waste, tailored to their exact requirements. As part of this service there is no additional charge for additional collections.
